My humans had to flee our hometown very quickly, there was no time to pack, no time to take much
with us. My human had to leave with just a small backpack with essentials. However, when she says she saw me sitting looking nervously at her, she took out some of her things and instead replaced them with my favorite teddy that I have had since I was born. I still
have my teddy here with me in Ireland.
I have no words to explain the love and the gratitude that I feel for my human. She saved my life
and put mine before hers to make sure I got to somewhere safe where I could live. I am happy now
but more importantly, we are together and we are safe.
